Sustainability is important to Speak Our Peace.
All of our clothing is produced by two different companies that are both Platinum Wrap Certified and are committed to maintaining and upholding responsible workplace and environmental standards.
What Is WRAP?
WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) is a globally recognized, independent 3rd party certifying body whose mission is to promote ethical, humane and lawful conditions and practices in all manufacturing facilities. Companies accepted into the WRAP organization go through an extensive application process in which manufacturing facilities, working environments, and worker's rights are inspected and approved by the WRAP association. WRAP certifications are awarded based upon both internationally and nationally accepted humane workplace standards, local laws, and ethical manufacturing regulations.
What Principles Does the WRAP Certification Include?
- Human resources management
- Health and safety standards
- Environmental and eco-friendly practices

Information regarding DTG printing and how the supplier we work with operates:
Around 85% of all textiles produced by the apparel industry end up in landfills, making it a major contributor to environmental damage. What’s more, one in every five items produced by the apparel industry reach landfills without ever being worn.
As Speak Our Peace works with on-demand suppliers, we only produce items we receive orders for, therefore avoiding textile waste from over production. Our printing partner's high-quality printing tech creates almost no waste waters and uses less energy than standard industry printers.
Our clothing is printed with the direct-to-garment (DTG) printing method. The printing tech used is made with sustainability in mind, and the Kornit printers use almost zero wastewater and less energy than standard industry printers, lowering our carbon footprint.
Speak Our Peace takes sustainability seriously. The inks we use for printing are vegan, water-based and free of harmful chemicals. Also, our on-demand supplier takes care to dispose of any left-over ink according to the ink supplier guidelines.
